Orchard Hills is a great 9 hole regulation course located at the Orchard Hills Golf & Country Club facility in Barboursville, WV. From the longest tees it offers 3,038 yards of golf for a par of 35.
Hole 1 - Par 4
375 White/410 Black
Start your round from a beautiful tee-box that overlooks the broad fairway of the first hole with a great view of the approach on hole 9. Finish on an elevated green. Not a bad place to start your day!
Hole 2 - Par 4
379 White/388 Black
The elevated tee-box on the second hole is a great vantage point for the course, as well as a great launching point for a monster drive! You’ll find the green tucked away and to the right.
Hole3 - Par 3
175 White/192 Black
This, the first of the trio of par 3s, has you teeing off next to a babbling brook.
Hole 4 - Par 5
450 White/475 Black
Swing everything you’ve got on this par 5 that takes you over a stream and into the woods that surround the course. The tree line is a gorgeous back-drop, from spring to fall!
Hole 5 - Par 3
This isolated par 3 is nestled between wood and hillside. It’s a great place to spot local wildlife – from a family of deer, to the occasional birdie!
Hole 6 - Par 4
360 White/412 Black
Whether you’re hitting from the lower tee-box out of the valley, or from the upper box from the top of the ridge, you’ll love the approach to an elevated green that overlooks the fairway of the 2nd and 7th holes.
Hole 7 - Par 3
172 White/180 Black
The last par 3 of the course starts high, overlooking the green and the fairway in the valley. Leave it short and you’ll be shooting back uphill to the elevated green.
Hole 8 - Par 4
365 White/400 Black
Fly over the water to set up your second shot on a steep approach. You’ll find this expansive green atop the hill and to the left. Look for Old Glory – the American flag flies just beyond the green.
Hole 9 - Par 5
460 White/480 Black
Hole 9 is the longest on the course. A strategic drive will set you up for a nice approach to the green that sits beside the historic clubhouse. This nice broad green is a great place to finish your round…
